As a supplemental RN, you would have the opportunity to "pick-up" shifts that fit with your schedule. While only requiring a small availability, this position would be a great fit for someone looking for schedule flexibility or a limited part-time position.

Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current Minnesota RN license or current license deemed appropriate by the Minnesota Board of Nursing.

Additional Qualifications: One year of work experience in Long Term Care or Home Health or two years of acute care nursing preferred.

Must be able to work independently. Requires good communication and human relation skills to interact with Health Service and Charter House staff. Strong problem solving skills are necessary with the ability to collect, compare, sort and prioritize information to be used in the decision-making process for groups of resident and employees. Must be able to adapt to unpredictable situations and stress.

License or Certification: Current RN license by applicable state standards .

Basic Cardiac Life Support for healthcare providers- BCLS – certificate of course completion required and must not expire within 3 months after start date. A scanned copy of the certificate of completion or transcripts, including your full name, must be attached to your profile to be considered.

We will only accept certificates of course completion from the following providers:
  • American Heart Association (Title: BLS for Healthcare Providers)
  • Red Cross (Title: CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Health Care Providers or BLS for Healthcare Providers)
  • Military Training Network

Exemption Status: Non-exempt
Compensation Detail: Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum pay rate is $23.42 per hour.
Hours/Pay Period: Varies
Schedule Details: -Day Shifts (no nights)
-Infrequent evenings, weekends, and holidays

As a supplemental employee, you must provide availability of 32 hours per month (with 16 of these hours being weekends). Please note that you would not be required to work all of the hours that you provided as “available”.
