There is an opportunity to work with the Department of Neurosurgery as a NP or PA-C caring for our patients and their families. The role is to provide advanced provider practice care in collaboration with the Neurosurgical team. The providers practice with a high level of autonomy and expert skill in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of the Neurosurgery patients. As part of their professional role, they integrate education, research, leadership, and consultation into their clinical practice.The NP or PA-C will demonstrate this through nursing and resident education, participation in the divisions research mission and projects, hospital committee membership and leadership, and providing continuity of care for hospital staff, patients, and their families.This is a part time position, working 2-3 days per week. Each day is 8 hour days. Your primary office location will be New Jersey but will have to travel to Pennsylvania as well.

Graduate of a NLN- approved school of nursing. \n\nRN and CRNP licensure in the State of Pennsylvania. \n\nCompletion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program with a MSN\n\nOR\n\nMasters in Physician Assistant. \n\nNational certification is required. \n\nMust have current CPR certification. \n\nPrior nursing experience in specialty is preferable\n\nLicensure or eligible in both the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and State of New Jersey. \n\nMust have current CPR certification
