Penn Medicine is seeking Advanced Practice Providers to work with the medicine hospitalist group at Penn Hospital Medicine HUP 54th and Cedar, Penn Medicines newest hospital located in West Philadelphia. The group currently consists of 5 full-time day Hospitalists, Internal Medicine residents, 4 APPs, and soon to be 2 dedicated Nocturnists. The new hire will work seven 12-hr shifts every two weeks, including a mix of day, night, and weekend shifts.Duties will include:¢\tInpatient rounding on general medicine patients¢\tMedicine consults¢\tProviding continuous inpatient coverage on the units and in observation¢\tAdmissions to the general medicine service¢\tConduct in-patient rounds¢\tConduct history and physical on patients on medicine service and psych service ¢\tEvaluation and treatment of patients ¢\tCoordination of admissions and discharge planning¢\tIssuing orders for medications, treatments and lab tests¢\tWrite discharge summaries

•\tCurrent licensure as an RN and Nurse Practitioner in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.\n•\tAcute Care Board Certification Required.\n\nOR\n\n•\tCurrent licensure as a Physician Assistant in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania\n•\tCertification as a Physician Assistant & Master’s degree required.
