Pennsylvania Hospital is currently seeking a full time Patient Care Tech on 6 Schiedt/6 Cathcart a Medical/Surgical unit. The Patient Care Technician delivers patient care that is both patient and family centered. Incorporates team focused, collegial relationships to ensure patient safety and improve outcomes. Maintains organizational competencies of superior quality care, critical thinking and interpersonal skills. Demonstrates accountability to the patient, family, self and the healthcare team. Provides superior quality care and assumes responsibility and accountability for their role in performance outcomes while supporting Pennsylvania Hospitals Relationship Based Care Model.

- High School Diploma or equivalent required. \n- Nursing Assistant Certification is required, or must be a Nursing Student with at least 1 semester rotation on a medical surgical unit.\n- BLS certification through the American Heart Association required.
