The Acute Care of The Elderly Unit (ACE) is a 24-bed unit, built in 2012. Our RN's take care of care of frail elders over the age of 65, in this challenging, multi-diagnosis unit. Education is key here, as our RN's become Geriatric Certified. We partner with the NJ Alzheimer's Association as well for educational assistance. There are end-of-life issues on this unit. We are currently searching for an Assistant Nurse Manager for night shifts here.The Assistant Nurse Manager is a professional Registered Nurse who is responsible for the direct supervision of nursing staff which is accomplished by: maintaining open lines of communication with staff and management; providing resource information as requested and overseeing the delivery of safe and clinically competent nursing care that is evidenced based.
