Penn Medicine Princeton Health has a need for a full time Registered Nurse in our Infusion Suite located in Plainsboro, NJ.Primary responsibilities include infusing and managing chemotherapy/biotherapy/immunotherapy, supportive care products, and infused/injected medications in the outpatient setting for adult and geriatric patients. The OPI RN, acting as a primary nurse and in collaboration with the treating physician, is responsible to accurately administer prescribed treatments with minimal supervision. Using the nursing process, the OPI RN provides patient- centered care in accordance with UMCP policies, New Jersey State Nurse Practice Act, and national standards.

QUALIFICATIONS\nEducation:\nâ¢ Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required or in pursuit of.\n\nRelated Work Experience:\nâ¢ 2-4 years of relevant nursing experience - preferred\n\nLICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS\n - Active NJ Registered Nurse license - required\n - Basic Life Saving certification (BLS) - required\n - OCN certification preferred. Must take and pass the OCN test within two years of employment.\n - Chemotherapy/biotherapy certificate required or obtained within first 6 months of employment.
