The Department of Urogynecology has an opening for a Physician Assistant to join the team at Penn Medicine. The Physician Assistant will provide direct and indirect care, under the direct supervision of and in collaboration with the Supervising Physician. Review patient history with the patient and performs physical examination documenting significant findings. Document significant findings as related to patient complaints and formalize the treatment plan.Review treatment plan with the patient and documents same in the patient medical record.Other duties and responsibilities include: Consulting with supervising physician on an as needed basis.Supporting customer service and performance improvement goals of the practiceIdentifying problems and handles/refers them/offers suggestions for resolution.Maintaining a positive, collaborative approach and positive relationships with others. supports Princeton Medicine / Rednor Risi Family Medicine initiatives and change efforts.
Master of Science Degree in Physician Assistant \nActive New Jersey State License to Practice as a Physician Assistant\nCertification from the National Commission on Certification of Physicians Assistants (NCCPA)\nHave or be in the process of obtaining DEA and NJ Controlled Dangerous Substances licenses
