POSITION TITLE: Charge Registered Nurse

DEPARTMENT: Med/Surg

SHIFT: Nights

Qualifications

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

Graduate from a school of nursing

BSN required or within three (3) years of hire

Successful completion of critical care course or equivalent training for this

hospital’s critical care course

License/Cert:

Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nevada required

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

CPI within ninety (90) days of hire/transfer and maintained

National Certification required within nine (9) months of hire CCRN preferred

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years recent critical care nursing experience required
