POSITIONSUMMARY:


TheCC Robotics reports to the Director of Perioperative Services. Responsible

forcoordinating daily activities of the Robotic Surgical Specialties in accordancewith the accepted standards and policies. Main responsibilities will includestrategic robotic program development in alignment with the strategic goals ofthe Hospital in conjunction with the Director around operations, growth andquality. Will also include supervising and training department personnel,maintaining equipment and supply levels, maintaining PI and customer serviceprogram, and maintaining up to date policies and procedures in designatedspecialty. The CC Robotics assumes responsibility for planning, supervising andevaluating the care of patients to ensure comprehensive and continuous care foreach patient/family in the designated specialty.  This involves management and responsibilitiesfor diverse categories of personnel for patient care. The CC Robotics works inclose collaboration with the Preop, PACU, and other multidisciplinarydepartments to achieve quality patient care. The CC Robotics position requires productivitymanagement, knowledge of management principles, communication,teaching/learning principles, nursing practice and the ability to apply nursingtheories. The position requires skill in interpersonal communication, groupdynamics, problem solving, delegation, interviewing, observation, counselingand teaching. The CC Robotics must evaluate personnel, assess environment, anddetermine priorities for care in order to plan, implement, and evaluateoutcomes of care. The CC Robotics must function effectively in stressfulsituations.




Qualifications

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of 1 to 2 years experience in area of responsibility in an acute care facility. Ability to scrub and circulate most procedures in areas of responsibility.

 

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

California RN License.

Current BCLS.

 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:   

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing

Bachelor of Nursing required or obtained within 3 to 4 years of hire

 

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS: 

Computer literate/Teaching/coaching skills/ Able to assess staff needs and develop objective goals
