SHIFT: Nights (rotating weekends)

SCHEDULE: Full-time

POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direct supervision of the Lead House Supervisor, according to hospital policies and procedures, the RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for her/his assigned patients.

 

 

Applicants are required to be proficient and able to work in a minimum of 2 of the following departments:

 

- Cardiovascular Intensive Care (CVICU)

- Progressive Care (IMC, PCU, or ICU Step-down)

- Emergency Department (ED)

- Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

Required:  Graduationfrom an accredited nursing program.

 

Preferred:  Completionof or actively pursuing a BSN degree.

 

EXPERIENCE:

Required: Two years minimum recent experience as a StaffNurse in a hospital patient care setting.

Minimum recent experience intwo areas of hospital nursing patient care.

 

LICENSES ANDCERTIFICATION:

Required:  Currentlicense to practice as a Registered Nurse in Texas. 

Current certification in BLS thatmeets American Heart Association BLS course C or D provider standards

Preferred: Certification in area of specialty.
