Ocala Regional Medical Center is now HCA Florida Ocala Hospital. Our 288-bed facility is located in the heart of Ocala. We are also home to HCA Florida West Marion Hospital, HCA Florida Summerfield Emergency, HCA Florida Maricamp Emergency and HCA Florida Trailwinds Village Emergency. With a Level II Trauma Center and the regions only Comprehensive Stroke Center, our hospitals offer a host of quality and award-winning services. These include orthopedic, cardiovascular, emergency and neurological care, robotic and weight loss surgery and rehabilitation services.

The Registered Nurse is responsible to Charge Nurse and Nursing Director for the delivery of quality patient care utilizing the nursing process. The quality of care given will be in keeping with the philosophy and objectives of the hospital and the Department of Nursing and will maintain and support the standards of nursing care and practice in order to meet the health care needs of patients, their families and the community.

The Registered Nurse prescribes, delegates and coordinates all nursing care provided throughout the hospital. The RN supervises patient care support personnel. The RN is responsible for meeting all standards associated with performance, nursing practice and nursing care.

Qualifications

2 year Associates Degree required
FL RN Licensure required or obtained within 90 days of hire if licensed with applicable RN Compact Licensure
BLS
ACLS within 90 days of hire/transfer
