Qualifications

Celebrating 25 years of providing quality healthcare to Davidson,Wilson and surrounding counties, TriStar Summit is a 218-bedcomprehensive facility offering a full array of acute care services, includingcardiology, emergency, oncology, orthopedics/spine, rehabilitation and women’sservices. Our 24/7 Level III Trauma ER is an Accredited Chest PainCenter with PCI and a Primary Stroke Center, which makes TriStar Summit aleading provider of emergency heart and stroke care. 

Position Summary:

The Registered Nurseperforms direct patient care within the scope of the Registered Nurse PracticeAct.  Utilizes therapeutic communication in daily practice. Maintains a safe therapeutic environment.  Identifies nursing problems asthey relate to the individual needs of the patient.  Plans individualizedpatient care utilizing an interdisciplinary approach.  Participates inperformance improvement activities.  Provides care and coordinatesparticipation that fosters the goals of the hospital’s mission and visionstatement.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
• Current TN RN licensure or TN approved compact license
• American Heart Association or Red Cross BLS
