Qualifications

FL RN Licensure or RecognizedCompact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements,including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions)

Minimum of one (1) year workexperience in the operating room, preferred.

The Registered Professional Nurse inthe Operating Room is responsible for assessing, planning, Implementing andevaluation of perioperative nursing care.  Communicates with surgeon andanesthesiologist continuously and as needed about patient condition. Assists with the maintenance of surgical equipment and inventory. Participates in performance improvement activities.  Assesses operatingroom for equipment functioning and readiness, obtains supplies for individualcases and ensures all appropriate needs of surgical operating team aremet.
