  • Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of Florida
    • orRecognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions).
  • Current BCLS certification is required.
  • 1 year experience in the Operating room is required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Additional languages preferred.
  • Basic computer knowledge.

TheRegistered Professional Nurse in the Operating Room is responsible forassessing, planning, Implementing and evaluation of perioperative nursing care. Communicates with surgeon andanesthesiologist continuously and as needed about patient condition. Assists with the maintenance of surgicalequipment and inventory. Participates inperformance improvement activities.Assesses operating room for equipment functioning and readiness, obtainssupplies for individual cases and ensures all appropriate needs of surgicaloperating team are met.
