About ourLevel II NICU:

  • Busy LevelII NICU with average census of 33 infants.

  • Censuscomprised of higher acuity, complex infants as well as infants requiringfeeding and weight stabilization.

  • Positionrequires floating to the Level IV NICU

What you canexpect to do in this role:

  • You willdeliver care based on criteria that is age appropriate based on the physical,psychosocial, cultural, safety and learning needs of the individual patient

  • You willoptimize the quality of life of all those served by expanding beyond thetraditional focus on medical needs to the needs of the whole person.

  • You will beresponsible for the care of premature and ill newborn patients meeting theadmissions criteria of our NICU. 

  • You willoversee and direct the care of assistive personnel, maintaining finalaccountability for the care given to assigned patients.

  • You willserves as primary nurse leading the collaboration of all disciplines forwell-coordinated patient care

Whatqualifications you will need for this role:

  • Graduate ofan accredited school of nursing required; BSN preferred

  • Currentlicensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current activemultistate Registered Nurse license.

  • Current BLSissued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross, required

  • NRP


  • 1 to 2 yearsacute care specialty nursing
