Alaska Regional has an opportunity for an experienced AVR Coordinator! 

The TAVR Coordinator is responsible for the development,coordination and implementation of the Bariatric Service Line at AlaskaRegional Hospital.  This positionpromotes and maintains positive working relationships with physicians and staffwho play a role in the care of TAVR patients. The TAVR Coordinator provides education to staff on the care andtreatment of bariatric patients as well as to the community on TAVR proceduresprovided at Alaska Regional Hospital.  TheTAVR Coordinator supports the mission, vision statements and goals of AlaskaRegional Hospital.

Qualifications

Job Requirements(Education and Experience) –

·      RN license

·      ACLS certification

·      BLS certification

·      A minimum of three years of nursing experience withCardiac Cath Lab patients

Job Requirements(Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) –

·      Excellent written, oral and presentation skills

·      Strong clinical skills in the performance of nursingcare

·      Knowledge of bariatric procedures and surgeries,nursing care, and treatment plans

·      Strong leadership skills and organizationalskills

·      Initiative and creativity in proposing andimplementing projects

·      Ability to integrate duties with otherdepartment programs to maximize impact and create efficiencies.

·      Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel, Access,and PowerPoint.
